Open "Cuttermaran", then open the video stream file (VTS_01_1.m2v). Cuttermaran will automatically open the associated audio stream file (VTS_01_1.80.ac3).
This operation is a little bit long because the program scan the files before opening them.
Once streams are loaded, jump to the first location which is the beginning of the first part to keep :
Cuttermaran
has a great research panel with thumbnails that is very useful to find
quickly the desired part.You can watch next thumbnails series by
clicking on arrow buttons at bottom.
Double Click on the desired thumbnail to jump to this location :
You can fine adjust the location with [I<] and [I>] buttons. Once
location is right, store this position as starting mark :
Repeat these steps again to find the end location, then store it as ending mark.
Once you have both starting and ending marks available, you can store this interval :
These steps can be repeated as
many time as you have video portions to select. At the end the list of
portions to keep is displayed at the bottom of the window. At the very
bottom, there is also some useful informations about the resulting
video, especially the number of frames. It can be used to know the
boundary when creating a periodic chapters list.
