The
starting point of all this reflexions and hard work was :
How
can I,
conveniently, extract video's from the Thomson DTH7000 unit hard drive,
with no quality loos and burn DVD afterwards ?
Now, I think I
have answers to these questions.
Here
is my solutions :
- Install the disk inside a removable hard drive rack,
to easily move it from the unit to the computer and vice and
versa.
- Extract video's with my dedicated
software : A
freeware called
DTH
explorer
- NEW!!!...
Use my new freeware
TurboVOB to prepare
(demux/remux) VOB files by batch.
- Burn resulting videos with the
PC's DVD burner.
I
wrote a small Guide to burn
DVD from DTH7000 video with freeware only (updated 25 april 2005)
I
hope
this will help, and also, I'm ready
to receive help to
improve DTH explorer (see link),
and I'm also interested in every
information you may have about the DTH7000 unit (serial bus driving,
USB features...and so on)
